Gourmet Rewards Terms and Conditions

Effective from: 1 April 2025

Welcome to Wild West Gourmet’s Gourmet Rewards Scheme – our way of saying thank you for supporting our artisan products. These terms and conditions govern your participation in the Gourmet Rewards Scheme, and by joining, you agree to abide by them.

1. Eligibility and Participation

  • Participation in the Gourmet Rewards Scheme is free and open to all customers who:
    • Create a customer account at www.wildwestgourmet.co.nz/my-account; and
    • Are logged in at the time of purchase
  • Purchases made without being logged in will not accrue reward points retroactively
  • Only individuals with a valid customer account are eligible to earn and redeem points. Businesses or wholesale customers may not be eligible unless otherwise specified

2. Earning Points

  • For every $1.00 NZD (excluding freight charges) spent on eligible products via our online store, you will earn 10 Gourmet Reward Points
  • Freight, and any promotional discounts are excluded from point calculations
  • Points are awarded only on completed and paid orders. Orders that are refunded, cancelled, or not fully paid will not qualify for points
  • Wild West Gourmet may, from time to time, offer promotional events where bonus points are awarded (e.g., for leaving a Google review or purchasing during a promotional period). Details will be provided at the time of promotion

3. Redeeming Points

  • Once you accumulate 1,000 Gourmet Reward Points, you will automatically receive a $15.00 NZD voucher via email, sent to the address linked to your account
  • The voucher is valid for use on your next purchase and is applied during checkout
  • Upon issue of the $15 voucher, your points balance will reset to zero
  • Any new points earned during the transaction that triggers the voucher issuance will begin a new accumulation cycle. For example, if your purchase earns 1,100 points, a $15 voucher is issued, and the remaining 100 points become your new starting balance
  • Points cannot be accrued beyond 1,000 – they will reset upon voucher issuance

4. Use of Vouchers

  • Vouchers:
    • Are valid for a single transaction only
    • Cannot be exchanged for cash or credit
    • Must be used before their expiry date (if applicable – typically 6 months from date of issue)
    • Cannot be combined with other discounts unless explicitly stated
  • No change will be given if the full value of the voucher is not used
  • Vouchers may be gifted to others, but cannot be transferred back into points or reissued under a different account
  • Lost or deleted voucher emails may be reissued at Wild West Gourmet’s discretion, provided the original voucher has not been redeemed

5. General Conditions

  • Points are non-transferable, have no cash value, and may only be used in accordance with these Terms
  • Wild West Gourmet reserves the right to cancel or adjust a points balance where there is evidence of misuse, account tampering, or technical error
  • Wild West Gourmet may modify, suspend, or terminate the Gourmet Rewards Scheme at any time, with or without prior notice. Any unredeemed points or vouchers at that time may be forfeited, subject to compliance with New Zealand consumer protection laws
  • Participation in the scheme does not entitle any participant to rights or benefits outside of those explicitly stated
  • In accordance with the Fair Trading Act 1986 and Consumer Guarantees Act 1993, all promotional materials, including vouchers and rewards schemes, must be clear, not misleading, and fairly administered. Wild West Gourmet upholds these standards

6. Privacy and Data

  • Personal data collected through participation in the Gourmet Rewards Scheme will be handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy (www.wildwestgourmet.co.nz/privacy-policy)
  • By joining the Gourmet Rewards Scheme, you consent to receiving emails about your points status, voucher issuance, and occasional promotional offers
