We might as well call this ‘a taste of Northland in a jar’. This Kūmara and Banana Chutney is sweet, chunky, full of texture, and definitely not short of flavour! It is packed with bananas grown right here in the Whangārei district, and Kaipara grown kūmara, then topped off with coconut and citrus. This is a chutney that begs for rich flavours to complement. We’ve paired it with a superb lamb curry, and also enjoyed it simply in cheese quesadilla.
Our Kūmara and Banana Chutney unashamedly heroes banana skins in big pieces throughout the chutney. Be amazed by the soft, tender, sweetness of the banana skins – the perfect pairing with a sharp cheddar!
Whilst we’ve not added ingredients with gluten, wheat flour, or other allergens to this chutney, there may be traces of allergens present. Contains sulphites.

I tried it on a whim at Field Days and was very pleasantly surprised. Goes great with salami and a strong cheddar.
